So March 8th is International Womens day, which means ladies, tomorrow is our day! :D
This is a time intended to sspread the word and awareness on women's issues across the world.
This day is an official holiday in China, Armenia, Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzebekistan, and Vietnam since the 1900's. What about America?! I guess we arnt so lucky...
In all of these counties traditionally men respect their wifes, mothers, and girlfriends. Women's history month has been moved to march [in the U.S.] to coenside with IWD.
There is no overall theme to IWD, it is just the overall idea of women's issues, such as abuse, global gender issues, ect.
So guys, honor your girl tomorrow!
